What’s New?

Notifications Management

On updating to the latest version, you will be prompted to allow notifications when you log in with your registered email address and password.  

To stay informed of any changes to your account, we recommend clicking ‘Allow’.

We’ve also added a new onboarding page to introduce the Notifications feature and prompt users to enable notification permissions.

Notification Settings

You can choose how you receive Lesson Notifications in Notification Settings. Simply go to the Account tab and scroll down until you see Notification Settings.

We recommend keeping notifications "On" for both Push Notifications and Emails so you stay up to date with any changes that might occur. You will always have updates on record too.

1. Enhanced Account page

1. Sorted existing tabs under 2 main categories – Account and App – for easier navigation
2. Added new tabs for Feedback and Notification Settings
3. Replaced the “Chat” icon with a more representative “Helpdesk” icon

2. In-App Feedback Survey

• To incorporate Aureus website survey feedback into the parent app.
• Implementing the function to open a Typeform survey within the in-app browser.  

3. Complimentary Lessons

• Added a “Complimentary” tag to lesson cards to easily differentiate between lesson types (regular, make-up & complimentary)

Examples of Notifications

Lessons Related

1. When a scheduled lesson has been cancelled.
2. When a scheduled lesson has been rescheduled.
3. When a make-up or complimentary lesson has been scheduled.
4. A reminder for customers that a lesson will take place the next day (in 24 hours).
5. A follow-up reminder to let customers know that the planned lesson will not happen the next day because it's been previously cancelled. (see point 1)

Note:
- If the lesson has been cancelled/scheduled/rescheduled by you, this notification serves as an additional layer of confirmation.
- If the same action was done by an Aureus staff, this serves as a timely update to you as it will be sent immediately.

Credits Related

1. When your make-up or complimentary credits are expiring soon. (Reminders will be sent 30 days and 7 days before the credit expiry date)
2. When you receive complimentary credits from Aureus.

App Related

1. When a new update of the Aureus Parent App has been released, you will be prompted to update the app.
