Mission of the Position

The Desktop and Hardware Systems Administrator will manage the provisioning, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of employee devices, maintain IT hardware across outlets, and oversee Microsoft 365 and Intune MDM systems. They will ensure smooth operations for hardware and digital systems, provide vendor support, and maintain documentation of IT assets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provision, troubleshoot and decommission employee laptops and their work-related devices
  • Maintain and troubleshoot issues with IT hardware across our outlets, not limited to digital signages, iPad-based POS systems, and CCTV’s.
  • Maintain and create documentation systems for keeping track of our IT Assets
  • Maintenance of our Microsoft 365 tenant and its relevant systems such as Intune MDM
  • Act as a POC for our hardware vendors and providers.

Skills, Traits and Competencies

Hiring Criteria

  • Proven experience maintaining Intune MDM, as well as implementing security restrictions for work-devices
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory
  • Familiarity with scripting for both Windows and MacOS is a must
  • Familiarity configuring and maintaining Shopify POS
  • Strong problem-solving skills extending to obscure systems such as CCTV or attendance taking hardware.
  • Good communication abilities
