Young Artist Feature: Bella Boon

Join us as we highlight our up-and-coming students who display exceptional talent in their instrument of choice. From classical virtuosos to pop-loving superstars in the making, our young artists put their best feet forward and showcase the outcome of their hard work and perseverance from hours of practice.

Today, we have Bella Boon (8), who is learning Piano from Teacher Mingle at Aureus @ Vivocity. Watch her flawless performance of the songs ‘Sakura’ and ‘Mocking Bird’ on the piano!

After her stellar performance, we sat down with Bella to get to know more about her.  

‍

1. How long have you been playing the piano?

B: For 3 years, since I was almost 5 years old.

‍

2. What do you love about playing the piano?

B: Playing the piano relaxes me and I feel very happy when I can play a song gracefully and beautifully.

‍

3. What is your practice routine like?

B: I try to practice 20-30 minutes a day or every other day.

‍

4. What advice would you have for other students who would like to master an instrument?

B: When you play a new song for the first time, keep trying until you get it, especially at the start. But most of all, don’t give up when you face a challenge like this.
