> Aureus Academy is Singapore's leading private music school, offering structured, individually tailored one-to-one lessons in piano, violin, guitar, drums, and singing for students of all ages and abilities. Founded in September 2013 by brothers Lawrence and Julius Holmefjord-Sarabi, it serves over 18,000 active students across 30+ studios in Singapore (and locations in the UAE). Lessons run on Aureus Interactive, a proprietary learning method designed to keep students engaged and inspire a lifelong love of music.

Aureus Academy specializes in personalized, one-on-one music education tailored to each student's interests, pace, and skill level — rejecting a one-size-fits-all approach. The school is known for its highly qualified teaching faculty (educated at top conservatories and universities), state-of-the-art studios in popular shopping malls, and dedicated in-house Recital Halls for student performances. New students can book a free trial lesson before enrolling. Lessons range from 30 to 60 minutes and are available for all ages, from young children to adults.

The Aureus Interactive method is composed of five core elements: illustrated Storybooks that introduce musical concepts; the CORE VI framework (a structured foundation of six essential skill pillars — music notation/reading, ear training, physical technique, expression and dynamics, performance, and creativity through composition/improvisation); a Treasures reward system (skill points, achievements, milestones); exposure to a wide variety of Music styles; and the Aureus Universe, an imaginative narrative world of characters and stories that makes learning feel like an adventure.

## Student Policies (The Aureus Promise)

  - All-inclusive learning: every book, app, and digital resource is included in enrolment from day one, plus a full enrolment kit at registration.
  - Flexible billing: choose monthly, bi-annual, or annual plans.
  - Hassle-free rescheduling: with 4 hours' notice, a make-up lesson is arranged, with 90 days to complete it.
  - Public holiday coverage: studios stay open on most public holidays; if closed, the lesson is converted to a make-up credit.
  - Online continuity: in the event of government-mandated closures, lessons move online.
  - Progress retention: learning history, progress records, and certifications are kept for up to 12 months during a break or instrument switch.
  - Centre transfers: enrolment can be transferred to the nearest Aureus centre, with the previous deposit refunded once the new enrolment is set up.
